Claire is a short thriller written and directed by Spencer Ryerson, and is produced by Jessica Reis and Howard Wan. Following a brutal attack, a young woman's seemingly inevitable fate is rudely interrupted by a piece of music she despises. Starring Claire Gagnon-King and John Marcucci.
The film has completed it's festival run, playing all across Canada. It played at the Canadian Film Festival, Vaughan Film Festival, and Calgary Underground Film Festival. It was also nominated for Best Technical, Best Editing & Best Performance: Claire Gagnon-King at the Vancouver Island Short Film Festival. Stay tuned for it's digital release soon! |
Peaches
Short Film - 2017
Peaches is a short romance drama about a lonesome baker (John Marcucci) who, after meeting a new customer (Claire Gagnon-King, All For One) with an order for a specific fruity dessert, attempts to start a relationship with her.
Peaches had it's world premiere at the Ascona Film Festival in Switzerland and North American premiere at the 2018 Oakville Film Festival, where it won the Healthy Planet Audience Choice Award at the Oakville Film Festival. Peaches also made it as a semi-finalist in the Los Angeles CineFest. Stay tuned for it's digital release soon! |

Cover-Up is a short horror-thriller that follows Danielle Fisher (Jessica Allen), an ex-con struggling to readjust to life beyond her cell. After a mysterious phone call, past traumas and insecurities come back to haunt Danielle. Also starring Biden Hall and Lawrene Denkers.
Cover-Up had it's world premiere at the Lost Episode Fest Toronto, 2016. It also played at the Hamilton Film Festival and featured as a part of the NSI Online Short Film Festival.

Unannounced is a short drama about an aging farmer (Neil Affleck, My Bloody Valentine) in rural Ontario who, after being unexpectedly reunited with his estranged daughter (Julianne Hjartarson) one night, attempts to mend their once broken relationship.
